Chattanooga, TN - October 6, 2021 - Solas BioVentures is pleased to announce the addition of David Blackburn to the team. David is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and will become an integral part of the capital development team at Solas.

David brings a wealth of talent and experience from a 30-year career in leadership roles in higher education, including administrative and advisory positions at the University of Tennessee, UT-Chattanooga, and Middle Tennessee State University. During his time at these institutions, David has presided over tens of millions of dollars in annual budgets and capital campaigns.
